Our shared responsibility to take care of the planet for the sake of everyone and everything who lives here shouldn’t be a divisive political issue. I don’t want to spend any more time arguing about science. There has to be another way to move forward, something other than climate change denial, or doom and gloom articles inspiring no hope or change. I chose to create #getbeaned in a way that was colorful, fun, irreverent. Something I hadn’t seen before in the discussion of climate change on either end of the spectrum. My hope is that by approaching a serious issue by not taking it too seriously, deniers might be accidentally influenced, and inspired to take action.
